Meet Stephanie Coueignoux

Stephanie Coueignoux (pronounced “QUINN-YOU”) is a 3-time Emmy Award winning communication and media coach who appreciates the power of communication and its vital role in achieving success. Prior to launching Stephanie Coueignoux Coaching, Stephanie spent 19 years as a TV news journalist appearing on national outlets like CNN and FOX, as well as local news stations.

It was over the course of those 19 years and thousands of interviews with CEOs, politicians, business and community leaders, and experts that Stephanie realized this: communication can stress smart people out! Stephanie found that having in-depth knowledge and intelligence doesn’t always equate to effectively sharing that expertise. Often, these experts were their own largest obstacle when it comes to sharing their knowledge with the public.

Stephanie found herself coaching experts on the spot before and during interviews. This is when the lightbulb went off and the mission of Stephanie Coueignoux Coaching formed.

As the Founder and CEO of Stephanie Coueignoux Coaching, Stephanie works directly with clients within the media and communication sphere. Her areas of expertise include media training, leadership communication, sales, branding, and public speaking.

Communication is both an art and a science. There is a method to creating a powerful brand and messaging. There is a technique to public speaking and appearing on camera.

Before launching her award-winning journalism career, Stephanie obtained a Psychology Degree from Wellesley College. Throughout her experience as a journalist, Stephanie realized how much psychology is involved in communication. Both psychology and communication are about how we relate and connect with ourselves and others. To achieve true connection, we need to have clarity, understanding, and the ability to effectively share who we are, how we

feel, and what we stand for.

Leaders must be able to understand and communicate who they are, how they feel, and what they stand for- otherwise, their audience will not connect with them and may not vote for them.

Stephanie’s mission is to help clients achieve that sense of confidence, connection, and clarity- and have fun doing so! Because if you’re not having fun, what’s the point?

With that in mind, Stephanie is proud to be the media training coach for J & Washington and its Leadership Academy. In this capacity, Stephanie works with political candidates and leaders to create a customized communication strategy, align both the art and science through proven techniques, and generate powerful success.
